Narrative and investigative reporting on the fallout of the 2007 financial crisis and subsequent austerity programme implemented by the British Conservative-Liberal Democrat coalition government elected in 2010. These reports document the impact of austerity policies on communities in Britain, particularly people already faced with systemic economic and social disadvantage. Topics include cuts to legal aid, social housing evictions, cuts to mental health services, and the struggles of single parent families.
